Can Anyone Confirm The following on the (USA low Voltage) MPP LV5048 Model:

1) Does BATTERY EQUALIZATION actually work?
-- I See "Equalization Paramaters" 33-37 in the manual's "setting" description area, page 20

-- But I see no description on how to actually use the Equalization in the above manual, as in the HV (MK) manual, page 32-33

2) Does BUILT IN battery EQUALIZATION only work with PYLONTECH Batteries with built-in Victron BMS?
-- So as too make settings 33-37 useless unless the batteries are Pylontech

3) Can the Included Equalization parameters be used in association with a third party BMS?
-- IE: Can the inverter be forced “Offline” (loads and battery disconnected) via parameters 33-37 for the batteries to be balanced by a third party BMS?

-- Can the Inverter be put into “StandBy" (loads powered, no charging) via settings 33-37 for the batteries to be balanced by a third party BMS?

Slightly Off-Topic But Related To Manage Batteries Outside of Shipping MPP Hardware and Software Solution

4) Does SIMPLE Serial Port Communication (say, from Raspberry Pi serial to LV’s USB via serial adapter) work on the LV5048 out of the box?

5) Can any of the 3rd party Inverter software solutions (and associated BMS functionality if included) work with the Inverter out of the box?

Still looking for advice/comments on above....

But, it looks like ICC software can act as middleware between certain MPP units and several BMS systems as described here:
