Battery with BMS and MPPT controller to manage two loads

I havent finished my system yet:

I'm testing with a lead acid battery that is being abused but will be upgrading to a LifePO4 battery with built in BMS.

I am running an 80W thermostatically controlled fan and about 5A of automatic lighting.

On a hot summer day the fan will run down the battery over night so I want to protect against that. I also want to protect against the automatic light control failing and draining the battery but I prioritize lights over fan.

So will this work:

Hook up lights via fuse directly to the battery, relying on battery BMS to manage that circuit.

Hook up fan to load on MPPT controller and set shutoff voltage higher to give evening of lighting if all else fails.

I had posted earlier about getting an ac switch in to augment, but i don't have AC in my shed, so that feels like a future project. I do need a good battery that is rightsized for system (400W) so if I can kill 2 birds with one stone was thinking of going that route (considering heated battery for protection from the freezing winters)
