I found a post regarding these on Craigslist, bought 2 and picked them up today near SJC airport.

Unknown BMS. I haven't tried them yet but $695 is a great deal for these batteries if you live nearby. They have around 50 to sell, they said.

I don't know much about YouSolar but they seem to make high-end solar equipment. They said they are switching to a new form factor for their batteries and getting rid of the old style.

I picked up mine yesterday and no affiliation beyond being a customer of their surplus stock.

The UL9540A Report provided says the cells are LiFePo 32700 6000mA and 3.2VDC. So far YouSolar provided a set of PDFs on the technical specs of their manufacturer and are working on finding the software for setting bms values.

When chatting with YouSolar, they said they're focusing on 25KwH+ size installations in luxury home, clinics, etc and the newer iteration they're rolling out is meant to expand seamlessly up to 100KwH installations w/ multiple tall racks each that have an overkill busbar in back of rack. Something interesting is they said they're moving higher than 48vdc as their new design pattern and I haven't heard of that being common outside of EVs.

Super friendly and supportive company, they requested we share back what we're doing w/ installations and helped load the packs into vehicle. Clearly they're excited about this stuff as well .

Here are a few pics from opening the top panel on rack, which is as far as I want to go since I lightly pulled on the foam top and it's firmly attached. The wiring looks carefully done for the connectors and sleeves as well as neatly organized.
