As DIY batteries become more popular, it will be a matter of time before they have to conform to some form of quality and standards.
With this in mind, I think it would be good to start a thread of best practice and stay ahead of the professional manufactures .
Including some discussion on
layout to lower risk of thermal runaway
compression methods
termination of cells
cooling of cells
enclosure design
identification of capacity and chemistry of cells for firedept/other people working on installation
