Most EVs don't use LFP, they use NCA/NCM/etc that have a higher cell voltage.how is 16s bad for inverters?
aren't most 48V DIY batteries 16s?

To add, Multiplus can also work up to 66V, so can work with 16S NMC battery if cells are charge to less than 4.1V/cell.Victron Multiplus II 48 works with these without a glitch ( 2 modules - 12s )
There is at least 3 different battery in those tesla.I don't think Tesla Model 3 2019-2022 is LFP. I have a 2022 and it is not.
