A friend of mine, who already has an Ecoflow Delta Pro Ultra system (7.2kw), now wants to pull the trigger on solar for the house. Not sure yet how much PV he will have.
Currently, the Ecoflow is wired into the house via a manual transfer switch, he wants it all to be integrated into a system that is automated. So... ditching the manual switch.
We would like to do an EG4 system here but open to other options. Would this be a candidate for a Gridboss? I understand that AC coupling via the grid boss is lost when utility power is lost, or is that incorrect? What about the generator port, can it be connected that way without the two-wire functionality? Or, could we just hook it up as a second hybrid inverter in addition to whichever inverter is handling the PV?
