Bet you haven't seen a EG4 18k/PowerPro setup like this

This past weekend I noticed I had some mold starting on the eave on the low side of the roof:

So I went ahead and ordered a 25x45 60 mil EPDM for the roof and went to Lowe's and picked up 58 sheets of 1" insulation foam boards:

I'm doing a hot roof, that that will go down first, followed by the EPDM. Still researching the correct adhesive to use, and hope to get that ordered tomorrow.

But priority one is to get the roof done. Something I have been putting off as I thought the tarp would keep everything nice and dry, but I was wrong.
 
Its been a minute, so I figured I'll provide some updates. After the vapor barrier, 2 layers of 1" thick foam boards were added:

That was followed by 60 mil EPDM. Once I learned the cost with shipping of the metal siding with wood print would run about $20k with a 3 month lead time, I went with vinyl siding instead, which was only about $1k and went on pretty easy:

With the exterior completed, it was time to start on the inside.

Interior walls and electrical in progress:

Since the roof has a 4.5" drop over 16', I ripped from 2x6s from 4.5" on one end to 0" on the other in order to level the ceiling the entire length of the interior.

Since space is very tight, I went with a DIN breaker panel:

There was no way to get that stiff 2 gauge service entrance wire into the 125A main breaker, so I used Polaris connectors to convert to 2 gauge welding/battery cable (still rated for 600V) and also to split Neutral and GND into 4 gauge and 6 gauge respectively and bring into the 4 separate bus bars inside the panel:

With that configuration, I bonded Neutral and GND in the inverter:

Will be interesting to see if 2 EG4 wall batteries (28.6 kWh) will be enough to keep everything going during the winter during long cold nights, especially if doing a lot of cooking and taking long hot baths at the same time, lol.

Main living area will be a full blown home theater with a 7.4.4 speaker setup.

I had 200' of 12 gauge speaker wire and ran out. Ordered up a 2nd spool. The wall above have will have the LCR speakers along with 4x 18" subs (Marty cubes)

Equipment will all be situated along the left side wall, below one of the windows there:

2 dedicated 20A circuits to power the main AVR (Denon 6800) and well as the 4 subs (2x Behringer NX6000 amps). Also have dedicated Ethernet drops here for the Denon and HTPC.

Once the insulation and drywall is up, I'll be adding acoustic panels like these:

Here are the planned circuits:

I ran cat6 ethernet to all windows for POE shades. I'll be spinning up a new VM for Home Assistant (hosted on a server up in the house to minimize 24/7 power draw from the off-grid system), dedicated to controlling everything in this building. There won't be a single traditional light switch, as all lights will be controlled by Pro Shelly devices.

There will be recessed LCD panels in the walls to control everything but a lot of stuff will be automated, like lowering the blinds/shades depending on time of day, season and interior and exterior temps, etc. Also, the water heater will only run during the daytime when there's plenty of sun, unless there's demand outside of that window and the reserves are depleted. Plan to have the temp set to max so that I'll have as much "energy" as possible stored in the water tank at the end of each day.

Just watched Will's video on the 16kWh Yixiang battery for around $1,900. Very tempted to pick up a couple of those to bring my total battery capacity to around 60 kWh, which I would think would carry me through many dark winter days without worrying about depleting my batteries. But not sure how to connect them to my current setup with 2x EG4 wall batteries, but that will be the topic of another thread. Figured I'll see how my 2x EG4 batteries work out first.

20A enough for two nx6000s? I guess it would depend on if you are going sealed versus ported and your volume levels. Digging deep with sealed could cause some issues. End of Tomorrow intro for example.

I'm planning to put a NX6000 on each 20A circuit with the Denon sharing a circuit with one of them and the HTPC the other. Ported enclosures, so that will help.

I was leaning towards a projector (like the Valerion Max with 3,000 lumens), but with all the glass doors and windows, I'm not sure that would work out. So probably going to see if I can catch a TCL 115" QM7K on Black Friday for under 10 grand.

Haven't used my theater in a while, one sub array is 4 ultimax 18"s in the 4 cuft sealed flatpacks, using a speakerpower 6kW 240V plate amp, only used it on 120V with derate so far.

Wow, nice setup! Whatchu doing for the ceiling/inwall speakers? I've got a bunch of middle to very hi-end Kefs left over from previous projects if you happen to be interested. Have to double check mdl#.

Nice! I was surprised to discover the nx6000 will only accept 120V and not 240V.

Appreciate the offer, but I already have most of the speakers on hand. I stole most of them from what was my dedicated HT in the main house. They are as follows:

Mains Klipsch KLF 30
Center Klipsch KLF C7
Side Surrounds Klipsch Forte
Rear Surrounds Klipsch Forte
Atmos Speakers Klipsch CDT-5800-C II (these are the only ones I didn't already have)

The Klipsch speakers above are all from the 90's and early 2000's. They made good speakers back then. The HT at the house was build in 2000 and used a Barco 1208 CRT projector and lots of Adcom/Crown amps to power everything. One day I plan to redo that theater, likely with a JVC projector and an AT screen with matching LCR speakers behind it. But that is all a project for another day, lol.

Oh man, that's awesome. I did stints way back as a sound engineer for the Aragon Ballroom in Chicago so am familiar with Crown.
I was introduced to GP (Gold Peak) batteries when they bought Celestion and years later Kef. Yeah, such an odd aquisition... If you ever need Celestions... I know them enough to get small favors.;)

Adcoms and Infinity was my "dream upgraded" setup right out of college. I sold the 4ch 55xx model but still have the preamp and a couple 2ch amps in storage, lol. Running mostly Parasound and Kefs now. I have the monos to pair with some kefs still in boxes waiting to be setup, but like your nx's they need dedicated outlets each.
