Big jump in eg4 prices

I can't speak for Signature Solar, but I can speak for Current Connected -

While we have inventory in our warehouse that we purchased at the lower, pre-tariff prices, we are keeping our member pricing at the old member price until that stock is cleared out. We have a few hundred chargeverters on the way at the old price that we will be keeping the same member price until that stock dries up. Same thing for 3000EHV, batteries, inverters, GridBOSS etc. that had major price increases.

I would say this is the absolute last chance for the foreseeable future to get a good price until things stabilize...and for us, it's only until the cheaper stock is sold out (which is happening quickly).

It may depend if they have already charged your funding source, if not, you may be on the hook for the increased price. It will be interesting to see how this plays out.

Trying to lock in prices from solar installer, switched panels from Q-cells to Mission solar because even though not Chinese Q-Cells jacked prices way up in last week or so.

They still have batteries (Pytes) and inverter (Sol-ark) enough for my install it seems (I hope waiting for final quote).

I just ordered 3 EG4 charge controllers NOT from Signature Solar… shop around and you can find the lower prices still… but I wouldn’t wait long!!!

THANK YOU! I just ordered and you have won me over for future orders because of this attitude!

I assume your Joking and I am not defending EG4 but..
As much as it sounds really nice to say I am going to sell the existing stock at the old prices, no company does that.
If you got $1000 worth of Hammers and you know the Next order is going to cost $1250 you better make sure to cover your expenses for the next order or your the one that is going to be out of cash when the Inventory dries up.

But when they are selling those hammers for $2000 instead of the $2500 marked up price, they will be fine.

I'm not joking, this is no laughing matter.

Yes, the future inventory will cost us more, but it will also be worth more and we will have to charge more. In the meantime, while we have cheaper inventory, we will buffer the changes.

We are the type of company that wins alongside our customers, not that wins on the back of our customers. If our customers aren't successful then neither are we.

Be the change you want to see in the world.

Sure looks like your prices are just as high on your website!!!

Which is why I have purchased over $39,000 in solar gear - inverters, batteries, optimizers, cables, chargeverters, and a lot of my other solar parts since March of 2024 and when I need more I will look there first -- I found Current Connected through this forum, and they feel very much like a partner and operate the way I want the world to be.

Many thanks you and your team @HighTechLab

Log in to an account, we have a member pricing program. All it takes is a name and email address if you aren't already signed up.
So your prices are pretty much the same as SS/EG4 new prices.
How much is that $1500 EG4 LL-S if I log in?
I don't have an account and all I see is $1500

I can't help but think the prices are going up more than the tariffs are causing, but, ya know...
Of course they are.
Item leaves China at a cost of $100 freight included.
Store Marks up item by 100%.
Item sells for $200 plus Tax.

Item leaves China at a cost of $100 freight Included.
Item Gets a 20% Tariff at the Port so Item now leaves USA Port costing $120.
Store Marks up item by 100%
Item now Sells for $240 plus tax

Unless the Importer or retail outlet are willing to lower their markup it's always going to be Total Cost x Markup

I used to work for a company that operated like that. They are no longer in business. Because they had no buffer to protect from variations in revenue.

I'm so confused. I thought the whole Idea was the exporter ( China ) was going to pay the tariff and we were all going to get rich! Damn, so much for my expansion.
Duh, it’s a tax on exporting country, every 27 year old knows that.
