Great news if you live in Hawaii and are looking to buy an EcoFlow. I was in Home Depot today and was shopping for some stuff, and I saw a shelf that had a bunch of "solar generators".. There were a couple of EcoFLows and a Jackery.
This might not sound like a big deal for those of you of you that live in the lower 48, but getting anything that has a lithium battery in it shipped to Hawaii is a big problem. If you try to buy anything on Amazon that has a lithium battery in it, ( even a tiny one) you will get the message, " can not ship this item to your location". There is a local battery store that does carry some Ecoflow models, but they charge about $200-300 more than you would pay buying on Amazon.
( in Hawaii we call that the paradise tax) . I'm guessing most of that is because they have to pay a lot for shipping since these things are heavy and since a lithium battery is considered hazmat probably extra charge for that.
So I was very happy to see the Ecoflow Delta-2 sitting on the shelf at Home Depot and the price was $699. !!!
