Still waiting on my LiFePO4 batteries that will hopefully be here before winter, but not holding my breath.

I just saw that Renogy is having a sale with the reopening of their Ebay store.

I have the LV-6548 that is still in the box dying to be used and considering buying these panels since there is a sale: https://www.ebay.com/itm/274464106043?hash=item3fe755e63b:g:EpYAAOSwR4ZhJg-k

The LV-6548 max VOC is 250Vdc and Max PV array power is 8000W.
By my calculations, using 2 strings of 6 panels each for a total of 12 panels would be:
Max Array Power of 3,840W, but I'm not sure on the total VOC and wondering if this setup would put me over the 250Vdc

INVERTER MODEL
LV 6548
Max. PV Array Power 8000W
Max. PV Array Open Circuit Voltage 250Vdc
PV Array MPPT Voltage Range 90Vdc~230Vdc
Start up Voltage (Voc) 80Vdc

Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Thank you,
Andy

I don’t see a VOC spec for the panel. Average around 47V for those type of panels, so 6 would be too much.
If you can find the true spec, it will make math easier.

You have to scroll to the bottom and push a button.
40.1 voc 33.?vm.
So, 40.1x6 = 240.6voc
20% gets you down to about 0C.
240.6x20%= 48.12v.

So, 240.6+48.12 = 288.72 volts open circuit on a cold morning in Maryland.

Upstate NY here, but system won't be used during winter. 3-season off-grid cabin.
