Bluetti AC200P, RIP. What can I scavenge from this unit for a layperson? thanks!

So my 2 weeks old AC200P went flat and could not be revived. RIP

problem : couldnt start up, couldnt charge

What can I make of the internal parts?


Lithium (LiFEPo4) battery (2000wh)
seems a waste to throw the whole unit away

pictures attached
18 volts across the XT>90 connector
25 volts across battery terminals

Any idea how to connect a solar charge controller to it with inverter?

If I had an $1800 power station that quit in 2 weeks, I'd be more than a little unhappy, I would be looking to get a warranty replacement. If you did something accidently to damage it, I would be looking for a service tech to repair it. It would most probably be worth repairing. I would inquire at Bluetti either way, if they don't do repair work, they most likely can recommend someone who does.

I'm pretty sure this is the unit that failed, and they sent him a replacement.
So thats off the table focus on the question in the thread please.

Iirc, the unit uses a 48v battery, so you would need a 58.4v charge controller.
Verify the bms is functional, or replace that... since the charger isn't operating, odds are good the inverter is kaput as well.
Is this the P? Is it LFP, or NMC?

That looks like some sort of anderson type connector. Can you feed it some power through that and see if the batteries take a charge? If they do and the BMS proves to be working then it seems like taking out the extraneous plastic and just using the plug in Picture-4 would be the easiest way to go.
