Color me impressed. I didn't think the inverter would handle the compressor starting up. It held the voltage nice and steady at 120v after a slight dip on compressor starting. It's more a proof of concept than anything useful as it will only run it for 20-30 minutes tops.
 
Impressive. I tried with a 7k btu portable unit and it just couldn’t handle the start up surge. Tempted to turn on Power Lifting mode to see if it will work but I’m too worried it will fry the AC
 
Wow. I just got an EB3A and was wondering if it could power my Midea U ShapedAC. My AC in eco mode only draws like 350 to 450 watts. This could be a solution for a friend who wants to run an AC in their camper during the day to keep it cool ish and dry while parked outside at home. The AC could be plugged into the EB3A with solar charging plus wall charging as the camper is at home. The solar panels could keep the battery full most of the day.
