I have wired to 14s drawing supplied and boot with 3.5v battery as instructions and paired no problem. But when I try connecting on app it shows its trying to auto connect paired bms ant 16s over and over without success. I have tried everything from turn b tooth on, off, un pair and re pair many times, rebooting bms many times as well. Getting help from supplier is a loss. I really need help please.

does it also say on your BMS? if you have the 8 to 16s its wired different i had the same misstake and burned my BMS and the magic smoke came out

I ordered as 7 to 16 but not say on bms they don't list a 8 to 16 as you see on actual order, I put pics of actual bms and the order from Ali express

If you can pair the bluetooth but can not connect to apps then you need to on the gps as well. It was happened to me..it is not app version issue but adroid 11 and above need to ON the bluetooth and gps together.

I haven’t heard of needing a GPS unit for this.
If you can pair the bluetooth but can not connect to apps then you need to on the gps as well. It was happened to me..it is not app version issue but adroid 11 and above need to ON the bluetooth and gps together.

I have a few of these BMSes that decide to turn off bluetooth at random, but the BMS itself still works. To reactivate bluetooth, I’ve used the two wire connection (see photo) and touch them to a battery 3-4v (a single cell Li-Ion works great) until the BMS beeps. If it doesn’t, unplug the balance leads, wait a few minutes, then connect the balance leads then try activating it again. You could also have a defective bluetooth module.

Also if you have more than one ANT BMS, you’ll need to assign each one a separate MAC address and pair the phone again to the BMS (at least with my experience). I’ve also had better luck with Android 11 vs iOS 14.

I’m not too impressed with the ANT BMSes for bluetooth functionality, so I’ll probably replace it with a Minerals BMS. The output amps aren’t as high, but they’ve functioned great for me.
