Hey check this out , my battery is running a 100w right now but this app is saying it’s discharging almost 8amps

I checked and a 100w load should be pulling .83 amps

why does this app show 8amps then?

The BMS is measuring BATTERY current. Power = Volts * Amps.

7.98A * 13.24V = 106W

12V Battery current is approximately 10X the current needed for 120VAC. You computed the current for 120VAC.

Power = Current x Volts So, 13.24 times 7.98 = 105.6552 .... rounded up = 106

edit.... Ok, I was too slow that time.
