I'm building two 48v 75aHr Lifepo4 batteries and intend to use them with the Growatt SPF 3000TL LVM-48P or the Growatt SPF 3000TL LVM ES-48P. They both have 80amp max MPPT controllers.

If I won't be pulling over 15a @ 120v from the Growatt am I ok with a 60 amp BMS on each battery (two parallel wired 75aHr to create 150 aHr).

Thanks for the help, I've built lifepo4 in 12v versions before for powering 12v gear. This is my first build of 48v battery that is coupled to an inverter to power 120v appliances.

Edit to provide a little clarity and correct some specs...

60A * 51.2V * 2 = 6,144W

Since it's impossible to perfectly balance batteries assume you'll only get 80-90% of that.

Best to test the installation with a clamp DC ammeter to confirm current flow through each battery.
