Hi all, I'm a novice. Just putting it out there. ':)

I recently built a 4s Lifepo4 280 AH battery back using EVE cells.

I added a BMS, a QUCC 120A (I'm pretty sure is a generic Chinese model same as JBD & Overkill etc).

I'm interested and curious with the parameter settings for the BMS.

Will only updating the capacity and nominal capacity on the app be sufficient?

Can I tweak a few things to make it balance and charge better and safer?

The charge over current is set to 130A, is this okay? It seems high to me.

The balance turn on voltage is set to 3.2V, I don't really understand what this setting is / does. Is 3.2V the best setting? I have watch Youtuber's such as Andy from OffGridGarage change this to 3.5v.

Also balancing precision is currently set to 0.02v, is this okay?

I am still new to this I don't fully understand the importance of certain parameters etc.

Many thanks,

Daryl

Yes.

If you know what you want, yes.

Your cells are likely good to 140A.

3.4V
20mv difference.
Only when charging.

Yes, same as 20mV I mention above.

I am still new to this I don't fully understand the importance of certain parameters etc.

Many thanks,

This pdf from overkill might help, they also have a long "goog" manual, Joe.
