Hello,

I am installing a totally separate (isolated) solar power system in my RV that will not connect to the existing power system. For this year, I want it only to run a mini-split. I do not want to mess with the existing RV breaker panel for now. I have a separate Square-D Homeline breaker panel to take AC output from my Growatt inverter.

1. Do I bond the neutral and ground wires in this panel since it is not a sub-panel? Or do I have them on separate unconnected bus bars in the panel?

2. Where do I attached the ground to? The vehicle frame of the RV?

Thanks!

Many Growatt's don't have a neutral and some are only 120 in which one side will be a neutral. Also Mini splits can be 120 and 240 and with and without a neural. You could make a nice simple package if you pick your parts right.

Have you bought anything yet? Guess need to know what you have to help you.
