Buying 48v nominal batteries with 44v bats now?

OK, I already have 30 Chevy volt batteries 48 V but I want to add 4 New 48 V batteries my volt batteries are nominal 44 V so should I disable or disconnect one cell on the new batteries or should I leave it connected but it just won’t receive the voltage it’s capable of? I don’t have BMS yet but I am actively working on that. I’ve got some. I’m going to install next week so anyhow they are the same chemistry but the screaming deal on the new ones so what do you think ? Actually, maybe disconnect one Cell temporarily and then when I get the BMS is working right one type of battery could be 50.4 V and the other bank 54 V? They are all of the same chemistry thanks.

Changed my mind just reselling those batts or may trade for 44v nom batts

What are you talking about? You have 30 battery module 12S (NMC chemistry) and you want to connect them in parallel with 4 battery module 16S (LFP)? Or 13S NMC battery?

Dunno. What's your max charge/discharge rate?

My inverter is 4000w so likely 150 amps total max discharge and 16000kw solar so likely never over 200 amps charge usually about 100 amps

You are short in explanations and pictures man.
If I understand correctly, you have 60 kWh of ''dangerous'' NMC chemistry battery (from Chevy Volt) and you plan to add 30 cheap BMS on them.
Probably 15-20A unit all them in parallel. And you will try to find the cheapest one to save cash on 30 BMS.
Right?

Personally, I have connected those Volt 12S module in parallel with a single BMS in the past.

ok,which one?Some of the batts were on a orion BMS but he thought that it took out the 12th cell on them but it seems to have been only on the BMS as the cells progress normally to 50v at full charge,Also considering orion I have 336s total,tring to figure out how many I would need?One listing said that it comes with 2 remote?Should that work?
