So, I haven't ordered from Aliexpress before, but I was going to take a chance at the 4S LiFePO4 battery linked from mobile-solarpower.com. When I went to order, I noticed that it was asking for VAT, but I don't live in Europe, I live in the US. I proceeded to place an order anyway, but then my payment was suspended and they wanted pictures of my ID and other documents. This is concerning to me. Is this normal, or is there a way around this? I don't want issues with stolen identity so I am very careful with what information I release. What does everyone suggest as an alternative? Thanks!

I was looking at the 280Ah cells listed from the first link on https://www.mobile-solarpower.com/raw-lifepo4-deals-page.html for $445.18 with free shipping. Still quite a bit more expensive for US suppliers still it seems.
