Buying Surplus Panels in Connecticut--how do I do this?

I want to buy additional panels but I cannot afford $1800 for shipping from a far away location. I see lots of houses in my neighborhood with solar panels on the roof. Where are these companies that install them and how can I contact that with my request?
I need more solar panels for cloudy days. I'm not making enough power to stay off the grid except on sunny days only.

Keep an eye on farsebook market place and craigslist. I found 14 brand new Hyundai 315w panels with IQ7's next city over a couple weeks ago. Not sure of their history but I paid cash and legged it out of there LOL.

I've been watching FB marketplace and all I've seen so far is overpriced or broken solar panels for sale.

Need to find an installer whose got leftovers from a job.
