0.253 - 0.256 Ω IR - Brand new 280 AH Cells.
Old BYD packs using the external connector to measure IR. More than likely if you connect directly to the cell ends there is less IR.
These are 2 amp balancers.
On the new cells with very little IR the balancer can be set at 2 amps and has zero issues.
On the BYD very used cells with IR all over the place (4 to 6 times what new cells have), the balancer simply refuses to operate at 2 amps. It has to be throttled down to only have 1 amp max before it will consistently work.
The new cells were only 10 mV out of balance. Set at 2 amps balancing, it took less than 12 minutes to bring the pack of eight to 5 mV balance.
