I'm smelling a slight skunk smell seems to be when the garage is closed when the battery is discharging or charging. I checked the battery bank none of show signs of the vent membrane ruptured. I thought it was a portable swamp cooler but after moving it to the side yard and draining the water still smell it. It could be an actual skunk but I've never seen one around our area, and I would think after several days it would be gone. The BMS doesn't show any issues balanced down to .005.

I wouldn't call it skunk smell. But there is a smell. I have found it worse on open pouch cells.. but those are in an airtight container so that might be why.

Skunk smell could be an indication of a natural gas or propane leak. They add Butyl Mercapatan as a warning that a leak exists. May not be the issue but should be out ruled immediately. Home explosions happen due to gas leaks.

Do you park a vehicle in the garage that could have ran over a skunk?
I don't think so because one vehicle is a truck I'm restoring it's a project haven't been driving since 2011. The other we drive it but mostly sits in the driveway we have 3 other drivable vehicles. I don't smell it in the morning after the car is been in there all night. The batteries are only in use charging from 10am to the point where they are fully charged. I used them to peak shift little from 3pm we have smelled it around 5 or 6pm.

There is no natural gas lines in our neighborhood everything is electric. Only propane is one in my barbecue in the backyard couple of empty tanks on the side of my house.
