I tried search for an answer to this but came up empty. In my overland camper I have an epever mppt charge controller connected to an MT50 wall mounted meter. I would like to be able to monitor it via bluetooth. They sell these to make that possible ...

Given that there is just one RS485 plug receptacle in the MPPT ... It would seem I have to choose between bluetooth and the MT50. I found this device online but I wondered if it will work ....

Any guidance would be greatly appreciated!

yes, you can add devices in parallel to a rs485 bus

Mark ... one follow up question. I am finding it relatively hard to find RS485 splitters. On the other hand it is relatively easy to find RJ 45 splitters ...

Do you think this would work for the RS485 cables?

RS485 is just 2 wires - RJ45 should work
are the connections already RJ45 or RJ12 (4-pin)?

It does work, however bear in mind, if you have the MT50 wall controller like I have and the USB rs485 if you split this out you will receive the odd occasional time out in reading stats, the MT50 from my analysis also sends data back to the SCC.
the correct procedure for rs485 on multiple end points is to have an end termination ID for each device, which you cant do with the kit supplied.
I uses a basic rj45 spliter like in the picture above
