Hi All,

I'm in the process of building a new setup for my Prison van conversion.
I'll be running 4x Victron Super Cell AGM 170ah batteries in 12v and want to know if I can use a Victron battery balancer to help keep the charge levels equal..
I'll be putting in a Victron B2B 30a, a Victron shore power charger.
3 x 175w Renorgy mono panels with a Victron MPPT 100/50.
Victron Lynx Distributor and 500amp Shunt.

Hope that someone may be able to help in some way..

Cheers
Bryan

The 12v batteries in parallel will self balance. Although do need to pay attention how they are connected so they all share the load equally.

A battery balancer might be used if there were pairs of batteries in series to make 24v volts.

time2roll is correct. Just make sure your connections from the batteries are on different ends of your battery bank and not coming from the same battery. Does that make sense?
