I've been comparing prices between the USA and Canada over the last week or so because I have often found it cheaper to buy in the USA. As I live close to the border, it's not a problem for me to slip over to N. Falls, NY and grab my shipment.

However, I have noticed this is not usually the case with many solar products like batteries, inverters and even some solar panels. Batteries, especially are quite a bit cheaper in Canada than the USA. As an example we can buy four 12V-100ah batteries for under $1000.00 CDN. That is $710.00 USD. I have recently seen deals for $744.00 for four and that is $530.00 USD. If you are planning on some larger purchases and you are close to the border you might want to look at making your purchase in Canada if you would like to save some money.

Yeah! Despite the 1.43$ cad for each US$ right now.
To me those two canadian supplier have awesome price:

You are likely correct regarding pricing, however you need ensure all the equipment your purchase meets Canadian CSA C22.2 NO. 107.1:16 (R2021) for power conversion equipment. That goes right down to the rails under your panels and even the clips. When you purchase from a Canadian company you can ask them in writing to ensure everything they sell you meets Canadian CSA, all UL test requirements and Canadian fire codes rules. If something should fail an inspection you may have recourse with them. When you ask the same questions to a USA supplier- you're gonna get shrugged shoulders and no recourse. Research the Canadian rules and get and file each of the manufactures data sheets for each item you purchase to prove they meet the Canadian specs before you buy.

$710 USD for 12 volt 100ah LFP batteries?

You can get them for less than $150 all day long in the US. Cyclenbatt was selling theirs for $133 recently. Many others can be bought for that price or less.

That price is for four (4) batteries, not one. At $150.00 USD, they are still cheaper here in Canada and it is a good quality battery. What are the ones like that Cyclenbatt is selling?

They were $133 recently for cyber Monday sale but back up around $155.
