Is it worked on your win10 with the same cable and same uart protocol and with device address 0001 ? I thought it required address (by dip switches = 0000 ) ? Are you connecting the cable to the same port on the BMS side?
There is a new JK BMS Monitor software available already , you can download it from here:

Also, my experience:
with new JK BMS MONITOR V3.0.3.28 for Windows. Downloaded today . Installed: but not started, gives error msvcp140.dll & vcruntime140.dll missing. Version 2.8.0 is working.
OK, copied dlls into the folder where jk-bms-monitor.exe is located.
Now gives "the application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)".
OK, downloaded newest latest versions of Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable (dlls). Copied to the folder of JK-BMS-Monitor. Still the same error (dlls are found but "unable to start").
update: OKay... BUG REPORT ! my windows 10 is 64bit ! - I was downloading new versions of dlls for 64bit ! and was not working I as previously wrote.
Now I downloaded 32bit versions of these missing dlls and the JK BMS monitor 3.0.3.28 STARTED.
So... It looks like they compiled the software for 32bit version and on windows10 64bit it will require 32bit versions dlls ! I guess on windows11 will be the same !
downloaded dlls from: dllme.com/dll/files/msvcp140 &
https://www.dllme.com/dll/files/vcruntime140 choose 32bit versions (x86)
