Has anyone connected their JK-PB2A-16S-20P using a pc running windows 11 and JK-BMS Monitor 2.7.0? I have tried all uart protocols and settings in a standalone pack with device address 0001. The software worked on my windows 10 machine before upgrading. I have verified the virtual comm port address within windows and it is working fine. I appreciate any insight and assistance provided! Would like to upload firmware but cannot do so until this is resolved. Thanks

Is it worked on your win10 with the same cable and same uart protocol and with device address 0001 ? I thought it required address (by dip switches = 0000 ) ? Are you connecting the cable to the same port on the BMS side?
There is a new JK BMS Monitor software available already , you can download it from here: https://drive.google.com/drive/folders/1Q7P1H2KmFAAY7emIuu1SjA2W8wHczOsy
Also documentation (manual) from here: https://drive.google.com/file/d/1QB1z61K2erWVJH4Fvi_7mIt9KjXHhEJ4/view?usp=drive_link
Try please and let us know!
Also, my experience:
with new JK BMS MONITOR V3.0.3.28 for Windows. Downloaded today . Installed: but not started, gives error msvcp140.dll & vcruntime140.dll missing. Version 2.8.0 is working.
OK, copied dlls into the folder where jk-bms-monitor.exe is located.
Now gives "the application was unable to start correctly (0xc000007b)".
OK, downloaded newest latest versions of Microsoft Visual C++ redistributable (dlls). Copied to the folder of JK-BMS-Monitor. Still the same error (dlls are found but "unable to start").
update: OKay... BUG REPORT ! my windows 10 is 64bit ! - I was downloading new versions of dlls for 64bit ! and was not working I as previously wrote.
Now I downloaded 32bit versions of these missing dlls and the JK BMS monitor 3.0.3.28 STARTED.
So... It looks like they compiled the software for 32bit version and on windows10 64bit it will require 32bit versions dlls ! I guess on windows11 will be the same !
downloaded dlls from: dllme.com/dll/files/msvcp140 & https://www.dllme.com/dll/files/vcruntime140 choose 32bit versions (x86)

Thank you for your assistance. I have installed BMS Monitor 3.0.3 with the 32bit DLL's and it connects to my batteries but no data is coming in. Same as with the previous version of software. As mentioned before I am using the cable that ships with the JK-BMS and has worked with Windows 10 but no data appears when connected with windows 11. I have another pc and the software worked without adding dll's the same as kommando but still no data.

Very strange. So that cable never worked with JK BMS with pc software (never transferred data) ? Check that you connecting the one of the sockets which are at the end (edge) of the communication board (right side pair), not those which are closer to LED lights.
Check here:
(exactly that moment)
Try dip switches to position 0000, if does not work, try 0001. Check RS485 wires A & B: I have a cable which is working and the pins configuration is as follows:
(here, exactly that moment. Just only, in my working cable it is connected wire 7 to RS485-B, and wire 8 to RS485-A . If not worked, try wire 1 to B and wire 2 to A.

I solved the dll problem by just downloading the older 2.x version which starts successfully out of the box. Then I copied the missing dll files to the 3.x install folder. Problem solved.
