I was curious if any one has looked at Powersync batteries?

A link to their 12V/200Ah battery;

POWERSYNC™ CN12V-200FT Carbon Nanotube VRLA Battery Module - POWERSYNC Energy Solutions

They seem interesting.

The (limited) documentation makes me think it's a standby battery. I see no cycle estimates.

1. add carbon for real or imaginary benefits (looking at you, Trojan RE)
2. play buzzword bingo (pulls "nanotube" out of the hat)

AFAIK the only carbon-doped battery that lives up to the hype is the firefly. Even that got betamaxed by LFP for the most part.

Thanks fratermus. I was sorta thinking the same although they strike me as a top line AGM.

Based on my env/needs, cost of these versus a similar and nice SOK LiFePO4 solution are roughly the same albeit the latter would be ~1/4 the weight and 1/2 the foot print.

Both respond to emails quickly and nicely.

Don't forget that LiFePO4 has a 2k-5k (depending on use) cycle life, and even then they hold about 80% of the original capacity. Most lead-acid, even high end ones, won't be very useful after 1k cycles, and even less sometimes.
