Cell 8 and 9 not reading voltage on jk bms

I have 2 batteries with 2 jk bms. When I plug in my JK BMS the one works fine, the other battery doesn't read voltage on cell 8 and 9, but I get voltage on the clip when checked with a volt meter. Did I get a bad BMS?

Now the connector is reading 0 at the #8 connector also, but 9 still shows voltage

If this is the inverter bms are you sure you don’t have the plugs swapped to the wrong spot?

Sounds like a connector issue. Make sure that the pins are snapped all of the way in.

I assume he is using the JK Inverter BMS hardware.....beware! There are two +8 pins. You must only plug either one of this +8 pin and not both.

I was an idiot lol....I accidentally clipped cell 8 wire when cutting the wire ties. Twisted together put some heat shrink over and it's all working now!
