Cell configuration question- Look for a good laugh

Is there any compelling reason why I couldn't build my battery in a 2 x 2 column vs 1 x 4? I'm sure there is maybe more specific terminology for this? See my MS paint skills on display haha. And if the bus bar from cell B and C doesn't work,/fit can I just use a heavy gauge copper wire?

I have limited clearance on what I'm trying to put together. Thanks all!
