I have two CFE-5100 batteries and Deye invertor. I have replaced the batteries with Seplos Mason 3 and it works great. Now I want to donate my CFE-5100 to someone else, but before that I want to "train" then - charge without invertor-BMS communication with 57.6V until BMS shuts off, then balance with slow charge until the cells are equalized, then discharge until shut off, then charge to some % with BMS communication. Then repeat the same with the another CFE 5100, at the end charging to the same %. Hope then 2 batteries connected in parallel will last longer.
My problem is that I cannot monitor CFE's status (especially individual cells' voltage) as I cannot connect Smart BESS to the battery. Per instruction, there should be WiFi SSID hiflying_softap, but there is no such SSID. When I switch on the battery, I see HF-LPD130 hotspot, but when Smart BESS android app connects to that hotspot, it tries to configure the battery but that process never ends. Somehow I managed to install Smart BESS, now I have newer android phone, but Smart BESS is not available in Google Play for me. I think app got transferred to my phone from the old one. Or maybe Google Play banned that app. When trying to download apk from CFE site, I got wrong certificate error, and decided not to continue. Maybe there is another program which will communicate with CFE-5100?
