Charge my Pylontech US5000 first or just connect to inverter?

Hi there,
I have just godt my New Pylontech US5000 home and when I measure the voltage with multimeter it says 49.3v which probably is normal when getting it after the transportation from company.
My question is:
Can I connect it to my Growatt SPF 5000 ES right away or should I charge it up a little to begin with.
If I should charge it first, can I then use this charger (attached)?
The inverter is also connected to 230 AC grid if this should matter.
Thanks

Yes, I don't see any reason not to connect it to your inverter, with the associated data cable so the inverter knows the Pylontech's state of charge etc. 49.3V on a Pylontech is 3.28V per cell, which is the normal voltage most new cells are shipped with.

I would _not_ use that charger though. The Pylontech batteries are only 15 cells, not the usual 16.

That charger is designed for 16 cells packs (= max of 3.65v per cells = 58.4V).

Your battery pack is absolute max of 3.65 x 15 cells = 54.75V.

Ok. Thank you for your quick response. I will take the advise.
This charger was also bought with a 16 cells battery so that makes sense. :)
