Forgive me if this is too much of a noob question but I had a question about charging these diy lithium batteries. I plan on having a solar with separate MPPT charge controller but will also have the bank hooked up to a shore power 40A charger on my boat. Now the charger has a setting for LiFePo4 batteries but it provides charge Voltage of 14.4V. When I look at some of the specs for the DIY cells, they require a charge Voltage of 3.65V. 4 cells in series would make that 14.6V. Would my shorepower charger therefore be undercharging my LiFePo4 bank?

Thanks! I note that the charger also floats at 13.8V which is allowable/recommended in the video. Perhaps I can figure out how to use a relay to turn on the shorepower charger when plugged in AND the SOC gets below a certain threshold.

What type of charger do you have? Your charging off of AC power, correct?
