I have 5 x 12V100Ah LFP batteries connected in parallel via a 300A busbar. I want to charge the whole bank by connecting a Victron IP65 12V 15A charger to the busbar. The LFPs are in their winter home in the crawlspace where the temp is a fairly constant 64F, and this would be done probably when the voltage on the bank drops to below 50% in January or February.

I could disconnect each battery from the bank and charge them individually, but it seems at least theoretically that just charging via the busbar should accomplish the same thing.

Opinions sought.

Sounds good to me. Shouldn't have a problem charging them all at once, its just going to take a while to charge 500ah with a 15a charger.

You have 500Ah of battery. Let's say they are down to 200Ah (40%). You need to charge them at 15A. 300Ah / 15A = 20 hours. No need to start charging months in advance.
