charging a brand new EG4 server rack battery (48v)

Brand new eg4 48v server rack battery. Im going to use it for a hand truck build with a all in one inverter.
Only have 2, 270w panels at this location and cant add more panels here. It only gets about 3ish hours of sun a day in one small area (rest is heavily shaded by trees).
Since this is a "back up" system and im in no rush, for its first charge would you let it charge off the 2 panels? Or just let the inverter charge it from grid?

I don't think you will have enough voltage to charge the batteries though your inverter with only 2 panels. It would be best to charge it from the grid.

I agree. 2 panels might not be enough Voltage to turn on any MPPT for 48v. Unless you have a specific MPPT rated for that low of VOC startup
