I purchased an Anker Powerhouse 767 - F2000 portable solar generator to supplement my current gas home backup system. Is it okay to use a gas generator to recharge my F2000 intermittently during an outage? I use a Powermate PM9400E jobsite generator for the backup system. I'm concerned about dirty power and noise damaging the Anker unit. I purchased a 1200w Trip Lite line conditioner to use between the gas unit and the Anker. Is this the appropriate setup to reduce the risk of damaging the F2000? Thanks!

No, I live in a single-family home. The solar generator is a convenient addition to my current backup system, which is powered by my gasoline generator. As stated, I'm concerned about the gas generator damaging the solar unit if I use the 120v supply from the gas generator to charge the solar generator. An example of when I might do this would be if I were conserving my gasoline stores or if the sun is not an option during any given day during a power outage.

It'll charge fine off the gas generator. Even most houses don't have the cleanest power coming in or going out and that's typically what you'd use to charge it.
