Just an update for anyone in a similar situation to share my experience.
I used 2x 100w 0.1Ohm resistors in parallel
used a piece of aluminium as an additional heatsink.
I set the charging voltage to 29V which resulted in 20-25A of current.
Each resistor dissipated around 15W, much below the rated 100W, but still their temp was slightly above 100 Deg C (water slowly boiled when in contact). The spec states they are good up to 300 Deg C, so I should be good.
