On victron inv/chargers & SCC's with the in built 'remote on/off function', am i correct in thinking that i can simply run the live(+ve) output cable (only) from the charge & discharge control relays directly(from a chargery BMS).
If my understanding is correct, a chargery BMS will out put 12v 2.5A(between the two relays) through the +ve connections, whilst everything is within the correct parameters and the unit has power. If the units power goes down or if a cell etc goes outwith the parameters set, it powers down whichever relay(or both) as appropriate. This cuts the 12v supply to the 'H' terminal on the victron units, hence switching off. Thus, although there are two wires from each chargery relay, i only need connect the appropriate +ve connections to the inverter & SCC remote +ve terminals.
Is my understanding correct or am i missing something obvious?
Thanks for any confirmation offered or correction if i'm incorrect in my assumptions.
