Hi folks,

Firstly, I am aware that no advertising is allowed on this site. I will refrain from posting any links or spam to our proposed product. We don't have a company or a product at this time. Being a shill is not my intent, Scarily, i am looking for you opinions to make a great product!

Some Background: I am looking for a solution to charge my 16S LFP system with 6x 450W solar panels in a marine environment (lots of shading). I want each panel to have its own controller to really maximize the charging. There are a few solutions but IMO not very appeasing for cost, packaging, or power liming reasons. I also want the controllers mounted outside behind the panels to avoid running a bunch of wires through my sailboat hull.

That being said I have contacted a few other members here about building a custom charger, I think there is enough people in my situation that want such a charger. What I am looking for is feedback on the specs of this unit. What would the community like to see. Here is the current spec list for the device:
  • Buck - Boost Topography with MPPT
  • 70V MAX input (1 or 2 series panels)
  • Designed for 16S LFP 48V systems
  • 3 phase Charger, CV, CC, Float
  • User feedback via RGB LED
  • 2 or more charge profiles configured with a magnetic switch
  • Fully potted enclosure with flying leads
  • No Bluetooth/Wifi for FCC and security reasons
  • MSRP target around $100USD
Thank you for your time. As feedback, many forums have a "Vendor" section, for post such as this, would be great to see one here as well.

I don't need one but I like it. I don't know of any charge controller that boosts voltage up from a 24v panel to charge a 48v battery etc.
