Complete solar novice, out to sea.

The drawing represents the ac side of your ac/dc distribution panel.
Normally the master breaker is connected to the shore power inlet by some 10/2 NMD90 wire.
You will change that to connect it to your inverter.

just realized is it confirmation of this wire that you’re wanting, running from breaker to inlet

Sorry it took so long, busy morning!
Wow, its a plug.
Ok so we need to find out how that converter is connected.
You also need to test the inverter.
Could you please take the cover off the ac panel to expose the wiring and take a picture?

Have you ever tested the trailer electrics via the shore plug?
If yes, did everything work properly?
Did you make any changes after the test?

Is there an old lead acid battery somewhere connected to the dc distribution panel?
I say that because the bit wires going into the panel don't match the wires going to the converter.
This whole thing is starting to look like a can of worms :).

That does make me feel a little better ? I’m hoping we would have found it a little easier otherwise.
Yeah, they had it all running prior to buying it on the lot.
If it is indeed a can of worms, would it be advantageous to just rip it all out and start afresh (within reason obviously)? I’ll go take the AC panel picture now ?

Lets gets the whole picture and make an informed decision.

Can you please take the lid off that underneath box and take a picture?

Why would they put an extra busbar and shunt in? That is what they are no?

The lead acid legacy, they’re 12v. I’m charging them with a normal auto charger.
