Confused on recommended PV breaker size for LV6548

Greetings, I am putting the last pieces together for my project and I have a question about the required PV breaker rating for use with an MPPSolar LV6548. The manual states to use a 600VDC/30A breaker on the PV side (I assume one for each PV input also?). I bought 10 of the ET Solar 410W double glass panels and plan to run 5 panels in series to each PV input (there are 2 inputs on the LV6548). The Vmp for each panel is 42.3, so the total of 211.5v would not be anywhere near 600v. A quick shopping search show that 600vdc/30a breakers appear to run around $200. If there a reason I would need to have this large of a breaker? Or can I safely go with something with a lower voltage which is cheaper?

You should size breaker voltage based on Voc. Alternatively, you could use a suitable fuse that likely costs much less.
