Connecting multiple batteries of the same voltage/chemistry (not capacity) in parallel?

I'm not sure if I'm misinterpreting Will's setup where he has a ton of 48v LiFePO4 batteries connected in one of his systems. Is it okay to wire multiple LiFePO4 to the same bus bars even if they are of different capacities?
