Connecting panel to MPP

How do I connect a panel to the controller?

This is the controller I'm thinking of buying:
PIP LV2424 MSD 24V 2.4kW, 120V Output, 2kW Solar Input 80A Mppt

This is the cable that I'm going to run to the controller:
WindyNation 8 AWG 8 Gauge 1 Pair 100 Feet Black + 100 Feet Red Solar Panel Extension Cable Wire Solar Connector

Is there another cable I need to go to the positive and negative on the MPP that will connect to the extension cable?

Do you really need 100 feet of cable?
The connection to the MPP is bare stripped wire so you only need the MC4 on the solar panel end.
