For my RV use, I will put the LFP battery in a cabinet together with jerrycans of water, and that cabinet will be lightly insulated.
The light insulation together with the mass of the water should even out any peaks. Of course, with some seperation and waterproofing of battery.
But then I also have that cabinet with a small heater to keep it from freezing (so water doesnt freeze) and then don't have to keep the whole van from freezing.
