Crazy low prices on Aliexpress LifePO4 320A, with buyer protection?

I guess the question we should be asking is Has anyone ordered from the mentioned stores in this thread and actually received their purchased goods? -> keep in mind, I totally understand that the exact condition of the cells is another factor/gamble.
Something I noticed with these stores, they have feedback from small items like lithium vacuum batteries, but nothing for large cells.
Whether its just the extended time frame of larger cells not reaching customers yet or the smaller items are a front to gain feedback and then rip off people putting big money on bigger cells for 4mths, then Phoenix into another store - i'm not sure.

Here is my latest tracking update from a similar 'shonky' store:
Hasn't moved for 13 days, no contact, no idea what state it is in.
Seller will not advise who local carrier is.

I get that all the time, then the post office delivers the package next day.

In your case, I think it is probably a scam to let refund period expire.

I suggest you start a charge back now, they have had plenty of time to respond.

Yes, I have ordered from them, three different sellers, and so has Mr. Prowse.
Personally, I will stick to ordering from the vendor I have ordered from before that delivered real grade A cells for about 25% more.

I just ordered some 304AH EVE cells, if they are real quality, I will order 32 more next year.

Hi,
I´m Kai,
living most of my Time in Germany.

What should i say, i used the september Sale on 3999Orders and 1999 Orders for 4 Orders in total, 40 Cells a 280AH and 2 Cells a 320AH 100% New Grade A :)

8 Cells with 280 AH for 150 Euros total are so temping ...

First Red Flag: Shipping should be DHL, was switched to Seller Standard ...

For tracking i use the AliExpress operated Ciaonao Global Track und the "AfterShip" App, all Orders have been "Shipped" on Aliexrpress, Tracking is providing "Shipping on the way, Pending shipping by the Seller"

-> The Seller created Tracking ID´s, but did not provide a Package for the Carrier, since the last 9 Days ..
No Contact with the Seller, only "You have Track-ID, so i have shipped you Batteries ... such a Bulls***

It will be interesting, how they clear Customs, when Customs stop this Shipping, usually sendning you a "Love Letter", to pay your taxes and Pickup of the Batteries. Without Customs no Delivery ...

Regards,

Kai

and not some "fly by night" re-seller of who-knows-what, selling on AliExpress out of an apartment.
It would have to be a big apartment with 2629 Battery Sellers all living there....assuming they live together since all the photos from their AliExpress sites have them sharing the same office and factory.
Bath time would be a bit crowded.

That is often difficult to do. They go out of stock OR the vendor changes practices and sometimes, when they have you as a previous customer, The price goes way up.. Unreasonably up. They think they "have you". That is why I shop different vendors.
The best scenario would be to deal directly with the factory and not some "fly by night" re-seller of who-knows-what, selling on AliExpress out of an apartment. Factories are not interested or have the structure to deal in small bites of an order.
The vendor I use is never out of stock of the grade A cells, since they come directly from EVE. The grade B or bulk cells are frequently out of stock. Fortunately the third order I placed, I got the best deal on. I hope my 4th order next year will be as good, but we will have to wait and see. Cheaper is good, as long as the quality is there. I don't want to wait 3 months to get them and then find out that I can't use them. Cell manufacturers in China are legally restricted to the Chinese market by the patent holder, so it will be interesting to see what happens in April when the patent expires.

Any estimate of shipping given by Alibaba is way off, use Alibaba chat to get a real quote.

Still no movement on my tracking in 20 days since hitting the shore, there is no signature on tracking yet too.
I have no doubt its a scam now.
Aliexpress dispute is in, but I have zero confidence they will do anything.
Last resort will be Paypal.

I ordered 20 cells supposedly "Grade A 320ah" from the 1999orders store on aliexpress on July 28th. I have experienced the exact same thing others reported about shipping, tracking and vendor communications.

The vendor has stopped responding to my last 2 messages specifically asking for a US based shipping company tracking number as the HJYT company apparently will not handling the shipping anymore after reaching the shores of the US.

My local USPS post office does not have any packages for me in their possession. I also spoke directly with DHL Ecommerce and without a DHL tracking number they cannot offer any assistance and don't even have a way to reverse lookup a specific address for pending delivery.

The tracking information as provided by HJYT directly and through the 17track website hasn't changed since August 22nd and is as follows...

I live just outside Detroit, Michigan. I do not understand what the "PostNL" message means in the tracking information, all searches on phrase "PostNL" refer to the postal service in the Netherlands. My package should never need to go through Netherlands postal services.

I looked up PostNL a little further, it seems they also handle international shipping. I assume they are operating the container ship between Hong Kong and the US. The HJYT tracking number I have for my parcel does not work on their website either. I have seen other example tracking information on PostNL website indicating delivery times up to about 52 days total to the US. It looks like I am just coming up on about 56 days since ordering.

Also I would assume since the tracking information claims "Item ready for pick up at a Post Office collection point" that it should mean it has been unloaded from the shipping container at the port in the USA already. If that is the case then they already have had 32 days to go through customs and get transported from California to my doorstep in Michigan.

My Ali dispute has been frozen, I assume this was triggered by the Paypal claim.
Just need someone with some brains at Paypal to review and hopefully not a bot,

PostNL is pretty similar to something like the USPS in the USA. They do international, but mostly under the TNT Post names in Europe , and afaik not in US. For shippings from CN to USA it doesn't make sense at all.... since both of them are not their markets
( https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/PostNL )
Also, I'm not aware of any ship or container service they have. Only freight trucks for local delivery (well, within NL). I'm living in NL my entire life, I never saw a container or ship with their brand :)

I think al those xxxx stores have similar tactics: Open a store, label it <4 digit random number>store, advertise with very low prices, get money, post a random tracking no, and run....
Are you able to retrieve a weight indication? That probably would confirm it's just some random tracking no they abused for this scam.

If you're getting anything at all it will be bloated cells, batteries with rocks (to make up for the weight), and invalid capacty ratings (280Ah cells sold as 420Ah as some have experienced), or sell batteries by doing creative math (as some do: 4 cells of 3.2V/75Ah in series will give a 12.8V (4x3.2V) / 300Ah (4x75)

General it results in filing a claim. Ali frequently denies the claim (they don't know anthing, and if the seller says the customer isn't using proper equipment they just close the claim). Paypal... Well, haven't heart too many good results either. I think you're going ending up filing a claim at your CC company.

For anyone who hasn't bought cells yet: Go to a REPUTABLE seller on Alibaba, with decent reviews and a longer existence. Aliexpress is quite a lucky shot. Bloated cells, overrated cells, used cells, bad packaging, fraudulent sellers... I've seen them all. Look just at topics here: The majority of people having issues made the mistake ordering on Aliexpress without doing properly research.

Alibabba is neither 100% warranty, but it's much likely to get something you can actually use.... Want to minimum risk? Get a vendor with a US (or wherever you are located) warehouse. If you have the time, get properly matched cells at eg Amy (Luyuan)

I may be a victim....What do you think?

I purchased 8 of these cells through AliExpress. Paid roughly $1000CAD for all 8, which included shipping. They were supposed to be shipped through DHL. These were a good deal, not the cheapest, but not the most expensive as well from what I could find.

The batteries were shipped out within a couple days and I was provided a tracking number that can only be viewed on track17.net and not through DHL. I bought these batteries late July and I started asking the seller about them early Sept. The tracking details showed that the package had arrived into Canada and was apparently at some sorting facility as of Aug 18th. Conveniently, after I questioned the seller about the shipping and starting a dispute with Aliexpress on Sept 5th, the tracking data now shows that it's been delivered on Aug 25th. Nothing has been received! :(

I'm now in the process of disputing this through AliExpress and it's doesn't look like it'll go smoothly. I have to try to resolve it with the seller within the next 35 days before AliExpress will even step in. The seller just keeps saying that the package was delivered/signed for. I've read that in these instances, AliExpress will typically side with the seller as there is a tracking # that states it was delivered. I'm asking the seller to provide the carrier details of who ever deals with it once it's in Canada and to provide proof of delivery.... I haven't heard anything.

Fortunately, I did use PayPal and have the option to file a dispute with them, if not my credit card company. While I have no idea how this will turn out... it's a big pain in the ass having $1000 tied up, time wasted and my newly converted offgrid shed/office sitting in limbo while I wait for batteries.

In the mean time, I placed an order for the same cells for half the price through AliExpress (haha ya, most likely a scam as well, but hope the protections in place work) and I might place another order through someone on eBay (far more reputable) to get something to me asap.

Thoughts? Anyone else dealt with AliExpress disputes?

PS..... (I just read more of the thread above).... and the store I bought from was Assembly battery Store

Just check the high number of FAKE stores if you search for "280ah lifepo4", I think that more than 95% of the stores are fake and automatically created with duplicated products and all of them will never ship the package, first 2 pages only FAKE fraudulent stores , be aware :

All these will never ship anything, they use an expoit or can alterate the shipping comany database records and create false battery path ...

Indeed, this is what I've noticed too, now all results from the search are these scam stores and they do nothing to remove them :

there are more than 10.000 orders already from this type of stores and now they are just noticing the package was not sent at all and ALiExpress dispute and seller say you picked up the package ... so what can we all do, we are so many, and we should all contact chat support to solve it for all of us ...

postnl doesnt do shipping cargo, only air freight as far as i know, and only to or from the netherlands ( holland)

They call them 320AH because you will "hopefully" get that capacity, but you can complain till the end of the world that the cell only meets manufacture specifications of 302AH. You will have no recourse as that is the spec.
Most of the complainants would be happy to get 303ah!

These sites are a total scam and puts AliExpress and it's owner, Alibaba, under the spotlight for their failure to act against the obvious fraud from vendors on their site.
What would you suggest to help these hapless victims?
Maybe a complaint to the CCP, since they now have representation on the board of the companies, to organise some re-education of those involved.

First thing I would do is contact your state attorney General and verify the tax collected on every order is actually making it to the state. Then ask for the money back. You can get creative if you try.

for you delivered in 14 days with oversea cargo shipment ?! that is such a funny thing ...

I have a few Orders (6) in total open on Dispute for Lifepo Cells, 40 pcs a 280ah in Total, all from the same 3999orders, and 2 320ah from 1999orders.

Lets see, if Aliexpress smell a Rat here or if the get enough Tip to close the Dispute. It must be very suspect, when all Orders get lost.
