check out these crazy stats. My son did a science paper on the pros and cons of vertical solar installations so we setup one of our Qcell 480 watt bi facial panels and took measurements for a couple months. (long story short, the vertical setup with east/west orientation came very close to the traditional south facing orientation in total production.)
We got about 4" of snow last night in Eastern, NC and it's 26 degrees and very sunny today. These panels are rated at 480 watts with 525 watts of possible bi facial gain. I've gotten 480-490 watts a few times from clould edge effect but never anything like this. I saw 570 watts a few times. Sunny and cold with max albedo is pretty cool.
