Curious if anyone has built their own alternator voltage regulator.

I want to be able to control amperage based on RPM, throttle position, voltage, current, temperature, service break, BMS and such. This would be a dedicated 300 amp x 24v alternator charging multiple LiFePO4 banks though likely not to be pushed over 200 amps.

Programing and chassis communication is easy for me and seems simple enough to adjust the field coil as needed. Basically be making a charge controller for the batteries. I will also have the capability of adjusting idle RPM for stationary quick charging. My only concern is if the voltage can be controlled good enough for charging LiFePO4 batteries with changing RPM while driving... Or maybe a little fluctuation won't be a problem.

Thought it might save me some headaches if someone has already been down the road. Thanks.
