Daly bms not showing correct soc

Hello guys.

i have a problem with my daly balance 100 bms. Even though i set the rated capacity of my cells to 280Ah. It only shows up as 40Ah in the soc. Everything else works as it should.

Did someone else have a similar problem and might know a solution?

I found a solution to this problem. It's an application problem that doesn't allow to write the current capacity.

I had to guess the admin password for BMSTool-V1.14.45 software (password was 12345678) and then change the current capacity entry.

So you need a USB-UART cable. Without that, it is not possible to change this value.

Charging-discharging cells to extremes in the belief that this will reset the SOC value will not help you.
