Hi,
I have builded new battery pack, connected Daly BMS 16s, 150a and it shows high discharge current (up to 80A) on standby mode.
Did I make some mistake on connection, or BMS is broken?

Thank You for Your advises

JT

Pull the fat + wire off the battery and see if it changes.
Post a photo of the second screen showing the cell voltages.

Hi @Damon Ye ,

I have simlar problem with Daly 16S 250A BMS.
Everything is wired the same as in the picture.
All 16 batteries are visible on the BMS monitor screen with the values around 3.3v.
The voltage of 16 batteries is around 53V.

But as soon as I connect ANY load, even a small load like Cerbo GX which consumes maybe 5W, the Charge Mos and Discharge Mos are both turned OFF in about 3 seconds.

The current value with or without any load is about 44A, but nothing is getting hot.

@Damon Ye
Victron Cerbo GX as load:
"-" port is connected to P- (which you can see from the photo above is on Battery #1 minus)
"+" port is connected to Battery #16 plus.

Same if I connect Victron MultiPlus-II charger/inverter on battery ports.
- on P- and + on battery +.

When the switch between + port on load and battery + is turned on the Victron Cerbo GX starts booting and in about 3 seconds the chrg mos and disch mos both turn OFF and stay off.
