I have just installed a daly smart bms 4s 250a for my 2p4s eve 280Ah bank. It is installed in an aluminum boat where it is unavoidable that the negative of the battery is connected to the hull. One wall of the battery compartment is of aluminum which is connected to the hull and hence the negative pole. Would it be OK to mount the BMS on this wall even if the case cannot be electrically isolated from it.
