After a while I connceted the daly bms again.
Noted that there is no current A.

Have connected charger negative cable to the daly blue cable to negtive of 1st battery. Of course the black cable also from the bms.

Have the positive cable from the inverter charger connected together with the black P- cable to the last positive battery.
Also the las red cable from the bms.

Hoping that I have been clear and thanking you all in advance.

Bob

The blue (B-) cable goes to the negative of the last cell.
The black (P-) is the negative to the load/charger.

The positive for the load/charger is the +ve end of the pack, there is no wire from the BMS to the +ve of the pack other than the last BMS sense/balance wire.

Was there any spark or the like when you hooked it up?

This is a 3S, the larger units just have more sense wires.

Someone else with a similar error :(

that does not sound right, for some reason P- should be your negative connection for everything after the battery.... you got any photos?

Hi Daddy

the photo on the left has a blue/negative wicable coming from the inverter charger connectiing to the negative pole of the 1st batt and the blue cable of the bms..

the photo of the right is showing red/positive cable of the inv/charger going together with the black BMS cable to the 16th batt Positive pole.

Hope this is sufficient.

Bob

neither of the terminals (B-, P-) from the BMS should connect with the positive. sorry got a new kitten on my lap hard to type ATM... battery positive goes to loads only. B- goes to battery negative most cells negative and P- goes to load as your negative connection for all loads. the BMS acts as a switch in the negative line.

Hi
Dont take me wrong like to explain one by one.

Blue cable from the Bms B - is going to.....

Negative cable from the inverter or load is going to ...

The black cable P- is going to....

and the positive cable of the inverter or load is going to...

Just give me one by one if possible.as english is not my main language

Have a nice evening

see above bold comments, and do not worry about not speaking english, chances are good I do not speak your language either ;)

HI you mean the blue cable from the BMS B- is connected to the 1st neg - batt .

Neg cable from the inverter -load is connected to the P- black cable .

the POS+ cable from the inverter charger is connected to the las pos+ of the battery

and still nothing.

Have to check

Bobr

It sounds ok, do check against my diagram in Post #3

Do post further photos of how you are connected.

Are all the sense/balance wires correctly connected?

Try connecting your charger, does the pack charge?

It's possible that your previous mis-connection fried the beast :(

It is vital to check, check, check again BMS wiring before plugging in the sense wires.

As crossy indicated above, plugging it in wrong one time can and often does fry a BMS. it does not even matter which brand, none of them tolerate being misconnected.

Normally you would hook up all of your BMS leads to the cells, test them to ensure they are in sequence, no matter how many times I have built a pack (over 10 total now). I always test the sequence of the leads to ensure that I did not screw up. then without plugging in the connecter, i hook up all of the main cables, and lastly I open the circuit at the positive battery terminal (fuse, breaker, knife blade switch whatever) and then plug in the sense leads.
